Aji Caballero Seeds ![]()
( Capsicum frutescens var. baccatum )
Hot and TASTY !

The "Aji Caballero" has been for generations the HOT pepper of preference in the Puerto Rican condiments. It's a tiny pepper which packs a LOT of heat! One of the characteristics of this pepper is that in the plant when growing it stands vertically unlike other peppers that hang down from the branches. The Aji Caballero is very scarce and hard to get. I now have the seeds for your "Grow your own" projects. Once you have a bearing plant, you can obtain your seeds and keep on expanding. The plant grows to approximately 3 - 4 feet in height and yield lots of little Caballeros. Plant your own and enjoy for years to come !
We have feedback already ! Here is the first to come through !

Jose,
My wife Susan ordered some aji caballero
seeds from you. I planted 12 seeds on Saturday August 19th in
regular potting soil mix. Yesterday August 26th 1 seed
germinated.
Today August 27th., 2 more seeds germinated. Since we live in
Connecticut and it's starting to get cool I am doing my
germinating indoors. I am using a 150 watt incandesent AgroSun
Dayspot Grow Bulb. The temperature is about 85 to 88 degrees with
a humidity of 40 to 50 percent. I will keep you posted on our
progress. Thank you for helping keep a part of our culture alive.
